I need to find a source for documentation of a discontinued bar code printer. The manufacturer is Zebra, the specific model is Z143. Also, the Lowry 4143 printer, an OEM version of the same Zebra, would work as well. Also, the Zebra Z140 would work as well. Please note - the Z140 is not the same as the current 140XiIII! |

Hello mweavercyt-ga, I spoke with a rep from Zebra just now who told me this printer has not been manufactured since 1995, which in printer-years, is quite old. I was also informed that all manuals and information in the Zebra archives regarding this printer was cleared on 5/15/2003. I checked e-Bay www.ebay.com , and while there are numerous Zebra products listed, none matches the model you mentioned. You may consider checking e-Bay periodically. A call to Lowery this evening was met with a "Please call during regular business hours" message. Here is Lowerey's website...perhaps you can try calling during their business hours! http://www.lowrycomputer.com/products/series.htm?category=Printers&subcategory=Thermal&manufacturer=Zebra&series=Z%20Series If you live near a university teaching hospital, you may check their salvage shops. One such hospital I worked for a few years ago, sent all our Zebra bar-code printers to salvage. crabcakes-ga |
