Hi 1936-ga,

Good day and thanks for your question.

Java is included with the browser, and will work unless it is
explicitly removed. Follow the steps below to enable java:
Click on Tools in browser menu bar
Select Internet Options...
Click on the Security tab
Click on the Internet icon
Click on the Custom Level button
Scroll to Scripting
Under the heading Active scripting check Enable
Under the heading Scripting of Java applets check Enable
Click the Apply button
Click OK

If you face a problem, then you might have to install JRE from
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/download.html

If you have any clarifications, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you fo rusing this service and have a nice day

Regards,
aditya2k

Hi 1936-ga,
Microsoft didn't ship Java with Windows XP. See my previous answer

information on how to obtain the plugin.
