I am interested in purchasing fresh currants in Los Angeles. I live in
Santa Monica and have no car, so a location in that area is desirable.

My preference are white (yellow) or red fresh currant berries.
Information on black currants would be ok if no info is available on
the former.

Keep in mind, that I cannot buy wholesale. It needs to be offered in
reasonable amounts for personal consumption. If online shipping is
possible of fresh currants, and such a non-wholesale retailer exists,
it would be satisfactory, although highly unlikely.

Dear Unborn,

I searched extensively, but find none retail green-grocer that sells
fresh currants. I hope that another Researcher will be more successful
(although I must note, that the question is about to expire, and you
might want to relist it, in order to get an answer from another
Researcher).

In the meanwhile, I suggest you'll call restaurants that serve foods
with currants (and there are quiet a few in LA and Santa Monica area).
Maybe one of the chefs will be willing to sell you the amount you
need, as a part of their wholesale purchase.
