"middle men". How can I buy directly from the source or get the same clothes
for lots less than I am now paying? |

Hi, John!
I haven't yet started to search, but it seems likely that the typical
quantity of an order may be an important piece of information. Can you
tell us the approximate size (either in units of clothing or in amount
spent) of your average purchase? I would expect that sources would be
different for a merchant who was ordering smaller amounts than for
someone buying large lots.

I gave it a try, but I'm afraid I haven't found anything good for you,
John. This is outside my areas of expertise. I hope one of the other
Researchers will be able to help you with this one.
Any info about your current supplier's pricing might be helpful to the
next person to work on your question (perhaps you could list your
supplier's prices on a few sample items that you frequently need).

We paid for Baby Gap clothes sizes 0 to 4 as little as $3.50 the
piece--- shirt, pants, sweaters, etc. If those individuals are selling
to us at this price and they are making a profit, we want to find
where we can buy for like $2.50 or less the same.

Hi again pendleton!
It seems that GAP Inc. does its business this way... they have
factories all around the world. Then they have distribution centers in
different countries that distribute the merchandise to different
vendors in the US.
Have you contacted these types of distribution centers authorized by
GAP Incorporated? They could provide the solutions for you. The GAP
website has no information about specific prices according to orders.
The website doesn't even have contact information for these
distribution centers.
After searching the web, I was able to find contact information for
two of distribution centers. You can contact them and ask if they
could help you with your needs.
Will this be enough as a legitimate answer? Just the contact info of
distribution centers?

Easterangel-- Thanks for writing. This question is actually for my son
who is out of the country at this moment.
His main concern was finding lower than wholesale prices. I regret to
say but I think what you found would meet that requirement.
You may be aware that often a business wants to clear out a line and
gives 10 cents on the dollar prices. That is what he is looking for.
I will contact him none-the-less and LYK.
