I've asked for this before..but nobody could help me. I'm looking for genuine vintage Pocket watches or cigarette cases with enamel portraits of Indian Maharajas.There is one such watch available with a London dealer,Pieces of Time,which I am aware of so pl do not find me this same watch.This same watch was offered on a "EB" Auction site with the same images as the London dealer and there is something very strange going on as the London dealer has told me it seems like fraud as he has still has this watch...so pl don't revert with this watch on EB either as it looks like a scam! Such cigarette cases and watches with enamel portraits were made from the 1870's to the 1940's and have an almost photographic resemble of the subject matter (the Maharaja,Prince or Nawab). |
