I am interested in obtaining a list of 10 private universities on the
West-coast which satisfy the following criteria:

1) Have a Computer Science program
2) Have a transfer program ( especially if they have a specific
program with California community colleges )
3) Provide financial assistance to international students
4) Are considered amongst the most reputable in the area
5) Omit Stanford, Caltech and USC ( I am familiar with them already )
6) Not very far from a large city
7) Preferrably 6-8 of them would be in California, and would not all
be in one area. For example: some should be in the San Francisco, the
Los Angeles and the San Diego areas, but the area with most
universities satisfying conditions 1-6 will naturally have more
entries ( i.e. no need to provide equal numbers of everything ).
7) The rest can be anywhere on the west-coast ( not only in California )

Please ask for clarification if you consider my question vague. The
hard part for me is determining reputability in conjunction with the
rest of the criteria, which is why I have posted the question here.

Thank you.

Curious why you wouldn't consider UC schools -
are they not good for international students?

Since they are sponsored by taxes, it is almost impossible for an
international student to receive any kind of scholarship there. Thus
ironically, private universities tend to be actually cheaper.
