It's going to be a power boat with that definition -- but the context
of your question makes me believe that you're interested in a
sailboat. Sail? Or power?

What type of sailing do you want to do? Racing, cruising, or a little
of both? Do you have access to a hoist or do you want to ramp lauch?

Have just towed a Mumm 30 from the Netherlands to the UK. It's 9.42m
LOA and 3.07m max beam. With the rig layed flat fore/aft it stands
3.95m tall on its trailer and weighs 2041kg. It falls foul of towing
restrictions in most countries - max width is usually 2.5m, and there
were several 4.0m bridges on the Dutch motorways. Permits/special
permission is often required.

This is a big boat! It's also a serious one design racer. Not much of
a cruiser though.
