In the song "Spindle, A Darkness, A Fever and a Necklace", on the record "Fevers and Mirrors", by the band "Bright Eyes", there is a kid reading a story about some people(?) named Mitchell and Margot. Does this come from a book or is it something written by the band as part of the lyrics to the song? |

Hello. It's from a children's book called "Mitchell is Moving" by by Marjorie Weinman Sharmat. "After sixty years in the same old place, Mitchell the dinosaur decides it's time to move. His neighbor, Margo, dreams up ways of stopping him. But nothing can hold Mitchell back. Two weeks later, Mitchell's in a new home, but he's not as happy as he thought he'd be. Can he be missing his best friend?" source: Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0689808763/ ------ search strategy: I found the lyrics that you were talking about at: http://brighteyes.scriptmania.com/lyrics/feverslyrics.html The vocabulary and word repetition sounded like they were lifted from a children's books, so I searched: children books mitch I hope this helps. | |
