I need the names of editors/writers that write and/or cover the
subject of CELLULAR (and a separate listing if we can do it for the
subject of TELECOMMUNICATIONS if different from Cellular list).

I need this for only the following media:
WSJ
NYT
AP - NATIONAL DESK not local
USA Today
CNN
CBS - National, not local
ABC - National, not local
NBC - National, not local
FOX - National, not local
MSNBC
BusinessWeek
Newsweek
Time

You all may look up the writers by story written or have these names
in a central database but I need editors/writers that have written
CELLULAR stories over the past year or so.

The reporters for CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, AP and MSNBC who cover
cellular and telecommunications stories under the technology sector
are not necessarily the writers of the news story. They often report
on news garnered from other sources. It is next to impossible to pin
down the writers of the actual stories, since a byline is often not
included in the online articles.
It is easier to pin down writers in written publications like the
newspapers and the magazines since they are associated with the
article. It is also difficult to separate the writers into just
"Cellular" or "Telecommunications" reporters, since they are generally
lumped under Technology.
Let me know your thoughts as I work on this answer, please.

Hello, narcost-ga!

I have highlighted the writers of the most recent
Cellular/Telecommunications articles for the sources requested. For
most of the News sites, however, many of the articles are from
different sources such as Reuters and the Associated Press. The
Associated Press articles RARELY have an author. CNN will also often
include articles from their staff without a name attached. NBC News
had no individual writers highlighted.

A few of the sites have specific writers which appear to write the
bulk of articles on Cellular and Telecommunications topics. For those
sites, I have merely listed the columnists and their contact
information. For other news sites, where writers seem to cover
numerous topics, I have attached a link to a recent article. I have
also tried to list them according to the number of articles written on
the specific topic.

I hope the names I have provided prove helpful. It was much like
extracting individual teeth to find specific writers on some of the
sites! Most of the writers do not have individual contact information
so you will have to access them through the organizations' main
office.

If you need further clarification, let me know!

Sincerely,

umiat
