For when the number of pairs is 8 in a Spearman rank correlation I
know that a coefficient of 0.738 indicates 0.025 significance level, a
coefficient of 0.643 indicates 0.05 significance level. What
coeffiecient indicates a 0.1 significance level and a 0.2 significance
level?

Hi paul!
I'm having trouble answering this question because I can't fit the
significane values you already provide. Where did you get those
figures from? They are not in the following table that shows the
critical values for a few significance levels (though not the ones
you're looking for).

Is it possible that there is a typo in your question?

Best regards,

The following table is not the one I actually used but gives the same values:
http://www.mathsnet.net/asa2/modules/s35stables.html
This table gives the significance levels for a single tailed test,
your one gives them for a two tailed test (I don't actually know what
the difference between a one and two tailed is and if you could tell
me I would be grateful - I use Excel for performing the spearman test)
