I am looking for a list or directory of associations or magazines that
create awards for manufacturers, factories, products, etc. For
example, the journal Machine Design gives a manufacturer of XYZ a
"Product of the Year Award". I am specifically looking for a compiled
list of organizations who give out awards. I do not know if this kind
of list exists.

I think that you'll want to narrow this down quite a bit.  At the
extreme, it includes everything from "Product of the Year" awards to
quality awards to the Academy Awards (or Oscars).

Product of the Year for heavy equipment, buses, trucks, machinery, but
not automobiles, computers, foods, just the heavy stuff.
