We have a COMPLETE commercial software package, which is a software
for mangaging Insurance Agencies. It is a subscription program, and we
already have a small number of paying clients who are using the
program. We don't want to pursue the hassles of marketing it
ourselves, that is why we want to sell the software to a company who
will be willing to do that.

There is a lot of profit to be made, therefore the price of this
software as estimated by us is atleast around $300,000.

Thats what the problem is and thats where I need help. We already have
a established company, which also produces other software products. I
only want to sell off this particular software system.

I don't know where to start from. It is a significant amount of money,
and I am not sure how to approach selling it. I do not have a contact,
or a company or an interested party who would like to purchase
(invest) that kind of money in this particular business. How do I look
for one? I hope someone can help me get an idea where to start at. Are
there companies who would help you sell software, by taking a cut in
the sale?

My main problem is marketing, so another approach would be that I dont
sell it off completely. I won't mind if a marketing company takes over
the program to sell it to subscribers. Our company gets our cut for
developing it, and the marketing company gets it's share for selling
it. I have not been able to find a company like that.

Anyway, i would like to be guided to parties interested in buying or
marketting our software. I'd prefer to sell it off.

By the way, our company is based in Houston, TX.

Regards.
