Could you be a little more specific about your needs?

Do you want to buy "Carscan - A computer contolled diagnostic system"?

Clarification of Question by ashy55-ga on 14 Nov 2003 01:15 PST
As stated below, Carscan is a computer controlled diagnostic system,
their first outlet was established in Edinburgh in late 2001 and
KwikFit were to take on the future marketing and distribution of the
system. I have checked the Kwikfit web site and it is not listed as a
particular service that they provide.

The magazine article that showcased Carscan was in the motoring
journal CAR as of January 2002 and gave a web site address as
www.carscan.net of which I can find no trace.

A web site called archive.org has a copy of what was on carscan.net
before it disappeared:
http://web.archive.org/web/20020122205507/http://www.carscan.net/

From what I can tell, "CarScan" was a vehicle testing service that
Kwik-Fit hoped to offer throughout Europe. Edinburgh was the pilot
location.

Is it your hope to find out if this service is still offered anywhere?
Or are you more interested in the technical aspects of the computer
system they were using?

I would like to find out if the service is still offered anywhere in
the UK as I want to put a Ferrari that I recently aquired through
Carscan, before I sell it on. I would also like to know more about the
technical details of the system as this could be an interesting
business opportunity particularly as there has been no uptake by
Kwikfit to date.
