The famous "Mother" is the well-known "Route 66", also known as the
"Mother Road". The Route 66 started in Chicago, Illinois, headed
westward, crossed Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and
Arizona, before finally reaching its endpoint in Los Angeles,
California.
The Route 66 existed as a signed U.S. Highway for 59 years, from 1926
to 1985, when it was officially decommissioned.
The Mother Road's signature would be "Route 66", but maybe you would
