How many full-time college students in the U.S. were enrolled during 2003? How many graduated? Due to the dot com bust, lowered stock market, and depressed economy it has been difficult for recent college grads to find a job. What percentage of college grads from 2003 were able to find a job? What other options did "non-job-getters" pursue, and what were the percentages? Please provide sources of information for reference. Thank You |

Hello bboymsjee-ga, This is a tougher question to answer than you would expect. I haven?t been to find everything you?re looking for but here are some reports on how the class of 2003 fared in the job market. Good luck on finding the rest of the information you seek. ~ czh ~ http://www.collegejournal.com/mbacenter/newstrends/20030610-needleman.html Traditional Jobs Beckon M.B.A. Class of 2003 The survey, which is conducted every three years, polled 830 business-school graduates from 10 top-tier M.B.A. schools. The results contrast the poor health of the economy now vs. 2000, when it was booming. Overall, only 60% of respondents reported having secured full-time jobs as of mid-March, when the survey was completed, versus over 84% at the same time of year in 2000. http://www.collegejournal.com/jobhunting/searchstrategies/20030923-needleman.html Three Seniors Prepare For Tough Job Searches |
