I am giving you just the precise information you asked for, since it
appears that you need it immediately. A map of the judicial
subcircuits assigned to Cook County can be found at this link. Just
click on the link on the left side of the page that is entitled
"Judicial Subcircuit Map":
Chicago Council: State Judicial Evaluations
http://www.chicagocouncil.org/news/st_evaluations/031902evalreports.html#

The boundaries of the 12th Judicial Subcircuit are clearly indicated on that map.

If you wish, I will supplement this answer with a comment later in the
day that includes my search strategy for getting this information.

Thank you but I already had this map-it is too small for my project-I
need the actual street map that is used by the candidates to figure
out who can vote for them. If you know how to get this that would be
great. If I already had this do I still have to pay the 15.00?

Thanks for your clarification. I'm sorry that I misunderstood your
question, but I hope you understand why I thought that the information
I gave you was responsive to your request for "a map of the
boundaries" of the subcircuit.

I will now look further, although, based on my previous search, I am
not optimistic that I can find a more detailed map online. Would a
textual description of the boundaries of the subcircuit be sufficient?

As for your question about payment, if I cannot find a more detailed
map or a textual description of the subcircuit, I will contact the
Google Answers editors and request that my answer be withdrawn. You
don't need to do anything about this question at this point. (Oh, and
your price on this question was $10, not $15.)

Good news.

Here is a link to a larger map of the 15 judicial subcircuits in Cook County:
Northern Illinois University: Chicago: Cook County Subcircuits Elect
Their First Judges
http://www.lib.niu.edu/ipo/ii930136.html

On my medium-quality printer and with my middle-aged eyes, the street
boundaries are not quite legible (but they are there). With a higher
quality printer and better eyes, you may be able to read it clearly.
In any case, the map was prepared by the County Clerk of Cook County,
and an original or faxed copy should be obtainable from that office.

Additional Site:

Here is a link to the legislation that created the boundaries of the
subcircuits. I was excited when I found it until I discovered that is
is comprised of a very long list of real estate tracts:
Illinois Compiled Statutes: 705 ILCS 50
http://www.legis.state.il.us/legislation/ilcs/ch705/ch705act50.htm

Supplementary Search Strategy:

I tried various new Google searches that were somewhat broader that my
original searches. The one that led to the information on its first
"hit" was:
subcircuits "cook county"

I hope that this new map suits your purposes. If you have any further
questions or concerns, please ask for clarification again before
rating the answer.

Here is the additional information that I promised you.

At first I thought you were interested in the "12th Judicial Circuit"
in Illinois, but was suspicious when you implied that the area you
were looking for was northwest of Chicago (the 12th Judicial Circuit
is in Will County, southwest of Chicago).

So I then did the following simple Google search, which led me to
information about the existence of "subcircuits" in Cook County:
"12th subcircuit"

I then performed several more focused searches that led to the Web
page that contained the map that I provided you in my answer. These
searches included:

"cook county" subcircuits
://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&q=%22cook+county%22+subcircuits

"cook county" subcircuits boundaries
://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&q=%22cook+county%22+subcircuits+boundaries

"cook county" subcircuits map
://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&q=%22cook+county%22+subcircuits+map

The fifth result returned in that last search was the site containing
the map you are seeking.

Good luck to your mom in her election and to you on your report. If
anything in my answer or this comment is unclear, please ask for
clarification before rating the answer.

I should also note that the map at the link provided should be
printable if you right-click in the window in which it appears.
