We have a bunch of hi-res FPX-files (FlashPix) containing clipping
paths, our problem is this:
Photoshop 7 does not read fpx-files, and no application I have tried
can convert the fpx to another format without loosing the clipping
path.
I tried GraphicConverter on Mac OS X, and ImageMagick w/FPX support,
but neither seems to pay attention to the clipping path.

I'm looking for a linux/windows/mac application that can convert these
files to TIFF or similar, preserving the clipping paths, or is there a
way to get InDesign to read them?

Hi, you can use (freeware!) IrfanView (www.irfanview.com) to read the
FPX files and convert them to TIFFs. Since I don't have an FPX-file
with a clipping path, I can't tell you if it's preserved after the
conversion.
