Do you have any idea what application this file belonged
to? If not, what makes you believe this is a necessary file?
Searches turn up no results at all.

If it's not a part of your system or just something that arrived via
email and got deleted by the antivirus program you are using because
it has a virus, you can do without it. There's no need to restore it
unless you want your system to get infected.

Hi there,
When you try and open excell, word or outlook express the system says
that particular file is required and asks to locate the file but file
cannot be found. I think the virus name was sven or something similar.
Thanks

I checked a computer that is running Windows 95, with an old version
of Microsoft Office installed. No file by the name wsizkzn.exe exists
on this computer. Are you absolutely certain that the file's name is
exactly as you've posted it?

Hi there,
Thats definitely the file name the system is asking for. Funny enough
you can open old documents and the program works you just cannot open
any program files. Could the virus have changed the name of the
application file ? When you try to open a document with " open with "
that application file we are talking about appears in there along with
Excell, word , acrobat etc.
Thanks

"Could the virus have changed the name of the application file?"
Yes, absolutely. It sounds like the virus has written some entries
into your Windows registry. There may be more than one, but you
can probably resolve this particular issue by going to:
Start -> Run -> type in 'regedit', no qoutes, and hit Enter.
Then select Edit -> Find, and type in 'wsizkzn.exe', or, maybe
better, just 'wsizkzn', and delete the entries containing this
term.
If you've never edited the registry before, I would recommend
the greatest caution in doing so. If you have a friend who
is comfortable with this procedure, better to ask for their
assistance.
If this works to resolve your problem, let me know so I can
post this as the official answer - something I hesitate to
do with a computer problem to which I have no direct access.
