Hello!

This answer is not finished until you're satisfied with it. If you
choose to rate this answer, please do so after asking for any
necessary clarification/information. Thanks for your understanding.

I have located several comprehensive free resources for wood
processing equipment companies.

With specific regard to briquetting, I have located the Pellet Fuels
Institute, which lists one of its primary purposes as "Coordinating
and integrating the needs of raw material sources, pellet equipment
suppliers and consultants, fuel producers, appliance manufacturers,
and distribution entities." They maintain a member suppliers and
equipment manufacturers here:

PFI Member Suppliers and Equipment Manufacturers
http://www.pelletheat.org/industry/industry.html

Also in the briquetting category, the Thomas Register lists 2
companies that specialize in equipment manufacturing:

http://www.thomasregister.com/SearchListing.aspx?search_type=product&search_string=briquette&pn=62870407&sid=0311150041477400046111LW3&uid=TRGuest&narrow_text=wood

In addition to these, the following are three more general wood
processing equipment supplier resources.

The first is at the Wood Products Directory:

Wood Products Directory
http://www.wpd2000.com/index.shtml?1703

Alphabetically or categorically, here you can find dozens of wood
processing equipment manufacturers.

---

The second is at the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America:

Their searchable buyer's guide is located here:

Wood Manufacturers of America Buyer's Guide
http://www.wmma.org/buyersguide.htm

Here's a straight list of the companies in alphabetical order:

Wood Manufacturers of America Member List
http://www.wmma.org/memberlist.htm

---

The third is at the Forest Industry Network:

Forest Industry Network
http://www.forestindustry.com/Forestry/f-lvl-2.htm?page=210&ec=0&p=5

This one is categorically based.

---

There will no doubt be overlap between the 3 resources, as they are
separate organizational entities.

Search Strategy:
"wood briquettes OR pellets" machinery OR equipment OR presses
  wood machinery manufacturers
"wood OR lumbar processing equipment" companies OR firms
