I just sanded out a scratch in my floor. I re-coated the area with
finish. The repaired area is lighter than the surrounding floor due to
sunlight fading the overall floor. This may be a strange question,
but.... is there a type of light I can shine on the repaired area to
speed up the fading of this area to match the surrounding floor? I'm
thinking of a plant light or something with the UV rays of the sun.
Any ideas??

mark800...

You might want to consider the use of just the right shade
and number of coats of shoe polish. My neighbor was a
foreman for an interior repair company, and used this
more than once to hide the mistakes of his less-experienced
workers - with perfect results.
