Hello odaat1120,
The short answer is, Yes and No!
Yes, if you have a snippet of a song, or another sound file under
1.44mb in size. Simply right click on the file from within the folder
where it is stored, select ?Send to 3 ½ A floppy? and the file will
copy to the floppy.
No, if the music file is greater than 1.44mb in size. Floppy disks
only hold 1.44mb of data. Looking at the MP3s on my hard drive, none
of them would fit on a floppy as they are. The average size of one MP3
on my hard drive is 3mb, about half of which would fit on one floppy
disk.
The long answer is, you would need a music compression program. There
are some compression programs that change the format of an MP3 to .wav
or MP4 format, saving room. You would HAVE to do this to fit one song
onto a floppy. I don?t consider the amount of work necessary to
compress one song to a floppy worth the effort.

The better way would be to store music files on a CD if you have a
burner, or thumb drive (also know as a USB drive, pen drive, portable
drive, cigar drive). These come in various sizes, and can be found
quite inexpensively.
If you simply want to take one song to another location, you can
e-mail the song file, if you use a free web based e-mail program that
gives you plenty of room, like www.myway.com
www.yahoo.com also has a free service found on their home page, called
Yahoo Briefcase. You can save up to 30mg of data/music and retrieve it
from any computer with internet access. Reach Briefcase directly with

Hope this helps you with your music files! If my answer is unclear,
please ask for an answer clarification, and I will respond as soon as
possible.
