The Poll will be used for my new website:
http://www.geocities.com/justintimberlacke2003 , but now its under
construction.
Will be great if the poll will be same with the example web page
provided. I wish to be a management page, where to login and make
changes for example to type a new question with the optional answers,
and pressing on view html button to show me the html/java script for
the new poll setup.

Thats all.

Hello,
I'm developing a poll script for another customer here, it could be
useful to you, but it uses PHP/MySQL and tripod it's not the best
place to host it. How do you plan to store the results?.

Regards.

Hello, justin:
The problem is almost the same that in the forum question, tripod
doesn't allow databases/scripting languages to be hosted on their
sites. You need to host your scripts on a separate hosting, so I
suggest you to migrate your sites to a hosting capable of do that.
Please, think about it and tell me your opinion.

Regards.

Hello, justin:
Ok, so write a text file with all the access info to your host:
  host
  user
  pass
  database
  databaseuser
  databasepass
And upload this text file using this utility:

 http://www.xpde.com/upload.php

When you upload that file, I will be the only one with access to it,
so don't worry, this info won't be public.

Hello, justin:
Are you able to browse http://www.xpde.com ? It's very strange, if
you can't browse this page I have no other way to let you send me
private information because Google Answers prevent us from contacting
privately with you. Please, try again, the site is live and working, I
promise. Do you have any proxy, firewall or something similar? If not,
I will try to make it on another way.

Regards.

Hello, justin:

I have also installed the poll, this one is completely developed by
me, not an already made script. You can find it here:

http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/justinforum/poll.php

This poll script is intended to be included in other webpages, I
supose you will need some help on this matter, please, don't hesitate
to request for a clarification.

These are the contents of the README.txt file adapted to your site.

This is a very simple PHP script that allows you to create polls and
place them on your site. The initial release doesn't contain a lot of
features, but it works as it should. Just tell me what you need and I
will add it.

To create a new poll, enter the admin section using the action=admin parameter

http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/justinforum/poll.php?action=admin

Enter admin/pass as user/password, you can change them in your script,
on the first lines. Once logged you will be able to create new polls
or logout.

To create a new poll, just enter the poll title and the several
options you want to show to the users. If you want more than 10
options, you can configure it on the first lines of the script.

By default, the script, if called with no arguments, will show the
last poll, for example:

http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/justinforum/poll.php

You can also select which poll to show using the poll_id parameter:

http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/justinforum/poll.php?poll_id=3

To vote, just select the option you want and click on submit, you will
be redirected to the results page.

To show the results for a poll, use this line:

http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/justinforum/poll.php?action=results

You can also select which poll results to show using this command line:

http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/justinforum/poll.php?action=results&poll_id=3

This is a very rough script, I need that you tell me what more do you want.

As in the other questions, don't hesitate to request for any
clarifications, I'm here to help you until you get what you want.

Regards.
