I need the script to setup for my web site a Poll. I would like the
Poll to look like the poll from this website:
http://help4self.tripod.com/index.htm
But, I don't want a free script, I wish you make one for me. |

The Poll will be used for my new website:
http://www.geocities.com/justintimberlacke2003 , but now its under
construction.
Will be great if the poll will be same with the example web page
provided. I wish to be a management page, where to login and make
changes for example to type a new question with the optional answers,
and pressing on view html button to show me the html/java script for
the new poll setup.
Thats all.

Hello,
I'm developing a poll script for another customer here, it could be
useful to you, but it uses PHP/MySQL and tripod it's not the best
place to host it. How do you plan to store the results?.

Hello, justin:
The problem is almost the same that in the forum question, tripod
doesn't allow databases/scripting languages to be hosted on their
sites. You need to host your scripts on a separate hosting, so I
suggest you to migrate your sites to a hosting capable of do that.
Please, think about it and tell me your opinion.
Regards.

Hello, justin:
Ok, so write a text file with all the access info to your host:
host
user
pass
database
databaseuser
databasepass
And upload this text file using this utility:
http://www.xpde.com/upload.php
When you upload that file, I will be the only one with access to it,
so don't worry, this info won't be public.
Regards.

Hello, justin:
Are you able to browse http://www.xpde.com ? It's very strange, if
you can't browse this page I have no other way to let you send me
private information because Google Answers prevent us from contacting
privately with you. Please, try again, the site is live and working, I
promise. Do you have any proxy, firewall or something similar? If not,
I will try to make it on another way.
Regards.
