I am looking for a material (probably of the plastic type) which has
the following paramters:

1. cheap (to buy or to produce)
2. heats up easily in microwave in appr. 1 minute
3. stays hot for at least 1 hour
4. does not start to burn in microwave
5. does not start to burn in oven
6. is easy to cut / shape
7. appr. not thicker than 3-5 millimeter.
8. has a kind of 'stickyness'
9. it should be possible to print on it (or paint it)
10. other, not yet clear specifications.

Unfortunately, at this time, i can not tell the use of it.

Kind regards,

blokje-ga

I don't get it. How could any material only a few mm thick stay hot
for an hour? A thin sheet like this would cool off almost
immediately, just as aluminum foil does when you take it out of the
oven.

Can you clarify a bit what it is you're after.

I wonder if such a material exists at all... a plastic substance that
stays hot but doesn't burn or melt certainly sounds like a NASA or
government experiment, and would be very expensive. Furthermore, that
it can be cut or shaped easily (while hot?), I'm very skeptical if
this exists.
