I'm awaiting on an e-mail from Felicity Paxton on how to obtain her
report "America at the Prom: Ritual and Regeneration". It sounds like
it'll give you all the information you could want and more. I was
unable to find a copy online, so I e-mailed her.

In the meantime, here's the history of Ilion High School's prom
history:

Thanks!

I'm just waiting on an e-mail from Felicity Paxton. If any other
researchers already have material that satifies the question, please
feel free to post it. Thanks.

Felicity has gotten back to me. The report I referred to is actually
her PhD dissertation! It is 487 pages long. From the research I did,
I would view this as the biggest single review prom history. You can
purchase the whole report in PDF format for $29.50. You can also
review the first 24 pages for free. According to her e-mail, she is
also working on a putting the dissertation into book format. Here's
the link to the PDF file:

And since Felicity will probably be viewing this, I just want to thank
her again for her reply. Thanks!

Dear Ideaman:

I'm so sorry you did not find my answer helpful.
I was wrong on the Traditional Events History, now I see.

I hope you can use the other sources refering to how Prom dances have
changed and, off course, the dissertation founded by Xemion.

Good luck again!
