I'm trying to contact Diego Maradona's agent. I've tried contacting
the Argentine FA, FIFA and Boca Juniors and various Maradona websites,
but no success. I'm driving myself insane. Please help!

The agent's name is "Guillermo Coppola". He's all over the news
reports. Evidently someone in Reuters knows how to get ahold of him,
but I couldn't find any contact information for him. Hopefully
someone else can. Thanks.

Thanks for this.
Yeah I'm aware of Mr Coppola, but tracking him down has proved tricky
thus far. Unfortunately my Spanish is woeful, which has hindered my
phonecalls to both the AFA and Boca Juniors, who I'm sure would be
able to help if only I could understand what they were saying!
I also tried a contact at Reuters but they never got back to me. FIFA
in Zurich just said they had NO IDEA!!! Apparently Maradona lives in
Cuba now, which may or may not be of any help.
My company have a great business proposal to put to him, which is
frustrating to say the least!

Dear Stampy,

I found out that Mr. Guillermo Coppola’s fax number is the only way
for a first contact with him. A person of my complete confidence gave
me that fax number. Being a fax machine that answers the call, I had
no way to confirm for myself other authenticity than the fact that it
is a fax, buy I do trust my source.

The complete number (including country and city codes) is:
54-11-4775-5023.

Likewise, I was told that this week Mr. Coppola is coincidentally in
Buenos Aires, until Friday, what could make a good chance for a faster
contact.

Good luck with your proposal!

Regards,

Guillermo -- not Coppola, by the way, just a namesake :-)

I've tried that fax number but it is apparently out of service.
Could you possibly check your source? I can be contacted on stampy@bigpond.net.au

would it be possible to check out the contact details for Squadra
Representaciones? Apparently they are quite a well-known event
management compnay

Dear Stampy,

I called to that fax number before posting my answer and I heard a
normal fax machine sound signal. My source is a former leading member
of a major foot-ball team in Argentina, and I absolutely trust in its
authenticity. However, a mistake in numbers transcription might have
occurred, so I’ll check it back later (it’s 5:00 AM in Argentina now).
About “La Squadra Representaciones”, I’m not aware of it, but I’ll
track it as well. (I had already done a useless first try with local
telephone directory and Yellow Pages). If such company exists, it’s
very likely that the fax number corresponds to it. Anyway, please
don’t worry, we both want you to make your contact. I suggest you keep
trying with the fax number I gave you, and in the meantime I’ll find
out if something went wrong. Besides, if this lead proves to be wrong,
I’ve got an alternative one.

Please forgive me if I don’t send you an email, until I make sure it
is appropriate under Google Answers policies. Let’s keep in contact
this way for the moment.

Best regards!!

Guillermo

Hi Guillermo
I've just phoned that fax number at it appears to be working. I'll get
someone from my office to fax off tomorrow morning. You mentioned an
alternative - it might be a good idea if I tried that as well.
regards Richard

Hi, Richard,

About the alternative, I meant an alternative source: I know another
person of the foot-ball business to ask for. The result could be
another number, but most likely it would be a confirmation of the one
I gave you. I’ll check it anyway.

Regards,

Guillermo

Are you trying to get Maradona or his agent to sign in with you?

It sounds like you really need someone who speaks Spanish, understands
your business, and can persuade him to sign in. Technically I could
do it, but it's not part of this agreement, I think.

all I'm after is a telephone number or email address for Guillermo
Coppola. I'm guessing that he speaks English! I can take it from
there.

Squadra Representaciones S.A is apparently the company name. I need
someone to find their number and an email address that will reach Mr
Coppola personally
