I am considering the pruchase of a new digital slr camera.  I already
have canon lenses on the elan eos.  But I am open to other brands.  I
would like a detailed comparision (Of equivlent products) between the
major players in the field including canon nikon kodak, minolta, etc. 
I am intrested in camers that are below $1500 new.  But that should
leave a lot of options.  Something that allows you to record 15
minutes of sound and movie like hte minolta is also very atractive,
but not required.  Thanks.
