Question ID: 278214
What companies offer competitive rates (better than bank) to other
businesses with foreign exchange requirements. The answer should show
some comparisons between companies such as HIFX, Currencies Direct,
Moneycorp (and others I probably don't know about!) including their
ranking.
The following factors should be included:
How proactive are these companies i.e. routes to market etc?
Do they tend to specialise i.e. target specific industry sectors?
How competive are their rates?
Do any industries remain "untapped".
What impact has the euro had on this business?
What are the positives/negatives of offering foreign exchange services?
Do these companies (such as HIFX) offer other services?
Why do so many businesses stay with their banks even though the rate is poor?
Any other relevant details or up to date reference documents.

Hello -

There is a significant amount of research required for this question
under a very quick deadline given the offered price. For $75, I would
compare 2 of these companies with the criteria you list (whatever
information is available over the weekend). Please let me know if
this would be acceptable.

Thank you,

jbf77

I do not think that a comparison between two companies would be
beneficial and is unlikely to give a true accurate market comparison.
Since posting this question I have found other companies such as
International Currency Exchange, FX Currency Services Limited,
International Currency Exchange (Europe) Plc, Lenlyn Holdings Plc, FX
Corporation Plc, Halewood International Market Strategies Limited,
Currency UK Limited etc etc. I have started some research myself but
due to the time factor felt additional input would be beneficial.

I can extend the deadline to Tuesday if that helps.
In the meantime, thank you for responding.
