I am doing a thesis re: clinical services offered online in the United
States and Canada. I want to know statistics about the growth (#)of
web sites offering mental health services, from 1995 to the present.
So, a snap shot of growth at no more than 2 year intervals would be
great. The stats could reflect # of hits showing interest or they
could reflect change in the number of sites offering mental health
services online. My impression is these stats (saw some old
references to Harris Poll in Canada government health had nothing)
reflect general websites offering mental health information online.

If you could find growth stats that reflect, specifically telehealth,
which is interactive: client - clinician engaged in any form of online
counseling termed coaching, advice, e-therapy, mentoring, etc. or self
help information that is interactive (a decision making program to
narrow your goals such as Therapeutic learning program, Roger Gould or
a self test for depression) this would be AWESOME!! If this
information is listed by profession that's fine but I don't wish to
restrict the search to any one profession. Could be psychiatrists,
psychologists, social workers etc.

I'm not interested in mental health Forums or list servs but if that
is a part of the results, so be it. I am not interested in Stats
about passive information such as what is bi polar disorder etc. I'm
looking for interacting client - clinician exchange.

The researchers here seem to provide good information of location or
citation. I would appreciate this very much as I want to use it in my
thesis where I will need to cite the source.

I am a student but I want to know the answer pretty soon, say by the
end of November, if possible. If the question requires too much time
for the money - let me know! I'm new at this and I want to be fair.
I also want the information in a complete and timely manner.

I would like both Canada's stats and the US stats separately rather
than North America in total, if possible.
