Please provide information on the fast food industry, specifically the
hamburger fast food industry (i.e. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys)
with sited sources that I can later refer back to.

1. What is the size (in terms of things like revenue, # of employees)
of this industry in comparison to other industries such as the
automotive industry, airline industry (in the US?)

2. What is the cost stucture of the hamburger fast food industry? For
example, is it increasing, decreasing, or constant costs?

3. What are the pricing policies? For example, is this industry
characterized by marginal cost pricing?

4. What are some of the main merger activities in this industry, if
any (i.e. has McDonalds merged with any other firms?)

I wanted to clarify something. For the questions asked, I also need
to know the reasons for the answers. For example, why was there a
merge, or why was the cost structure a certain way, etc. Thanks.
