tucrew00-ga,

I've got a lot of good information assembled for the history and
present of meatpacking, and what they're putting into the meat, but
there's not a heck of a lot available on the future of meatpacking. At
least, no one is forcasting any bold new technologies at this time, if
that's what you're looking for. The margins of the business are thin,
and quite a few meatpacking plants are going out of business these
days, so the immediate future doesn't look all that great. I'm not
finding any predicitons for twenty years out.

I'll leave the quesiton open for now to see if another researcher can
locate good information on the future of meatpacking technology, and
in the meantime I'll see if I can find more myself.

Otherwise, let me know if you'd like me to post the other information
as an Answer to your question.

Thanks,
