Martina4847,

I can definitely help you out with finding the physiological functions
of the brain areas (to how much detail, however, you will need to
specify), but I'm not sure what you want to know as far as the limbs
are concerned. As far as I'm concerned, the "functino" of the left
arm is to do whatever it is you decide your left arm should be doing.
(any comments/thought about that from anyone else? Is anyone else's
arm doing something that I'm not aware of?) Please clarify a bit what
exactly you want to know about the limbs. I'm confident that I can
give you appropriate answers regarding the brain areas. Thanks.

I was thinking that physiologically, the functioon of the "left arm"
may be to interpret signals sent by a specific area fo the right side
of the brain, and vice-versa. In other words, the left arm is
physiologically responding to signals emanating from a certain part of
the brain--and this leads to discussion of left/right hemisphere
control and bilateral symmetry.

Cerainly, this aspect of the Question could use some Clarificaiton from the asker.
