I found a source that lists annual new vehicle sales back to 1986
broken down by these categories:

light trucks(vans, pick-ups, SUV's)  
Daimler Chrysler 
General Motors
Volkswagen,
Ford
Toyota
Honda
Nissan
"other imports"

Is this sufficient?

I'm sorry, on closre inspection the source lists sales from 1986-2002
only. This particular document does not list 2003 sales to date.

I apologize for having sent a request for clarification which asked
for information already provided in the subject title. Somehow I
didn't see the "US" in the title. I must get some new bifocals soon,
