are you looking for hardware or software? and if you are looking for a
software solution, what audio production software are you currently
using?

The only equalizer for live sound enforcement (with built in ability,
that is) is Nady PEQ-5B and it costs few hundred dollrs. You may want
to check out used ones (maybe in Ebay, http://www.ebay.com or co.uk)
or save until you have the money. Alternatively, if you buy a dinamic
mic, you could use it for live sound enforcement.

I am looking for a rackmount piece of hardware... something similar to
this: http://www.zzounds.com/love.music?p=p.ASHPQX571&z=1407299715492

Don't know if you will have any luck. I just thought it would be
worth checking into.

Behringer do a 5 band parametric that is much closer to your price
then the Ashley.
Of course as ever you get what you pay for and this unit is not nearly
in the same class as the Ashley, BSS or Klark Technic units.

Regards, Dan.

Hi!

This link will take you to a vendor's page for the Behringer
Ultra Q Pro PEQ2200. I wish that you could spend a little more money;
you will get a much better unit than this one...

You can purchase a "blemished" Nandy PEQ-5 5-Band Parametric EQ from
musiciansfriend.com for $86.99 plus shipping. I have purchased their
blemished stuff before and generally it has been indistinguishable
from new. Plus, you have 30 days to change your mind and send it
back. Search their website for "blem parametric"!

Good luck,
Doug
