I have a question about Google search results. I want to know how you
figure out which site shows up first on there listings. For example
when I type the search phrase ?Appalachian trail? then it comes up
with tons of listings. The first one on the list is ?Appalachian Trail
Home Page - Appalachian Trail?.
I know for a fact that I get a lot more hits then this site and I am
listed way down on page 6. Here are the following stats for my site
for my site www.whiteblaze.net
Dailey averages:
Hits = 118215
Files = 69916
Pages = 2312
Visits = 661
Monthly Averages are:
Hits = 2249347
Files = 1328404
Pages = 50658
Visits = 17041
This is a lot of hits and visits. I should be number one on the list.
How did you figure your listing and how they are listed?
How can I get mine to list as on the first on the list because I know
I should be. Because I get the most hits/visits of all? |

No I do not need to have this question answered or clarified if you
can not answer for Google. If I knew you were not Google or could not
help me I would not have asked the question. Do I still get charged
the $2.00 since I got no help?

There is a $0.50 listing fee, however you won't be charged the $2.00
for an Answer if you close the question.
The Google Answers FAQ explains how:
"To cancel your question, log into to your account and go to "My
Account". When you see the list of questions you have asked, click on
the question you wish to cancel. Then click on the "Close Question"
button at the top of the page. Confirm your decision by clicking "Yes,
Close Question." "
