The gist of my search centers on finding a dealer of a garment I
purchased some 15-20 years ago. The specifics are as follows: The
brand name of the raincoat (or ?trench coat? I believe it was called
at that time) is Gleneagles®, and I seem to recall purchasing it at
either Abercrobie & Fitch or Capper & Capper here in Chicago. These
were very fine raincoats, on the order of the old London Fog. Back
then, they cost in the $350-$500 range. After many years of use, my
Gleneagle® is somewhat beyond repair, and I am seeking to hopefully
find the identical coat. I have searched the Internet with little or
no success. Hope you can be of assistance.

Howdy ouy,

I have located what I am sure is the original manufacturer of
your rain/trench coat.  They are Chicago area based, and have
made raincoats under the Gleneagles brand name since 1924.  I
have not been able to ascertain if they still make your coat.

I have contact information for this company as well.  If this
would suffice as an Answer, I would be more than happy to post
it as such.

The fact that the above is a Chicago based business and
they have used the "Gleneagles" name in making raincoats
since 1924 makes me sure this is the company you seek.
I checked the other USPTO results and the above is the
best fit to the garment in question.

I then used the Qwestdex online phone directory service
to find the following contact information for the Hart,
Schaffner & Marx Corporation.
