how can i download mandrake 9.2 for free, I the mandrake site download
section, but it has poor instuctions on how to do it?

Hi bluekat,
Do you have a fast connection and a CD burner?  The best way to get
Mandrake 9.2 is to download the three ISO images and then burn them
into 3 CDs.  Mandrake is provided as a free distribution, so it's
unlikely that you can find anyplace that offers Mandrake 9.2 for a
fee.  If you don't have either a fast connection and/or a CD burner,
you can obtain the Mandrake CDs for a nominal fee at their website.

You can visit:
http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/ftp.php3

... and click on the bottom (or second) "Now" button. This will take
you to the download page.

You will want to select a mirror for the kind of computer you have
(probably i586 if it's a PC). After you do that, you will see a list
of three or more files, with names such as:

Mandrake92-cd1-inst.i586.iso
Mandrake92-cd2-ext.i586.iso
Mandrake92-cd3-il8n.i586.iso

Download all three files (about 700 MB each), and then burn them to CD
as ISO's. You can then boot from the first CD to install Mandrake.

Look at http://www.linuxiso.org/ there are all linux's iso.

yes i have a fast connection and cd burner, thank you both for the
infomation, cant wait to get rid of windows  :)
