I'm looking for five articles about the future of radio broadcasting
CONTENT (i.e. not looking for the TECHNOLOGY of radio -- like PVRs,
digital radio, or satellite radio). In other words, broadcasters doing
interesting things with new program models, emerging ways to present
content, different roles for show hosts, and so on.

P.S. If you find a number of them, would prefer PUBLIC radio models
(like CBC Radio, Australian Broadcasting, NPR, PRI, etc.)

On-air personality talks about role of public radio
By CHRISTINE IWAN

?He said Michigan radio should focus on three areas -- more local
news, more civic journalism or advocacy roles and more focus on
becoming a place for public forums.

The station already has moved toward these formats, as public radio
stations realize that news in the morning, classical music in the
afternoon, news in the afternoon and jazz at night just isn't what
people want.

"News is what people wanted, by and large," he said.?

Hi Bobbie7 -- the first one is bang-on. It is specific, gives some
forward-looking ideas, talks about new models, etc. The second one,
not so -- it's a first-year student's summary in a student newspaper
of a talk about CBC Radio which doesn't talk much about new models of
programming or content. I know this is a bit subjective...
