the design has improved the working efficiency of these organisations
is desirable. The influence of technology on the role of the

Hello -

When you say "office design," are you talking internal or external?
Also, what is meant by "influence of technology on the role of the
journalists?"

Thanks for the clarification.

I am talking internal office design and layout. By influence of
technology I mean the need for journalists to be in touch with all
forms of media eg print tv cable and internet and be able to submit
articles to their papers electronically from just about anywhere.

Greetings Martin:

As it might be difficult for a Researcher to completely answer your
query within 24 hours (and on a Sunday when most newspaper offices are
basically closed) I wanted to offer you this information: The
Knoxville News Sentinel in Knoxville, TN, offers a virtual tour of
their new facility at http://building.knoxnews.com/ and the index on
that page includes many articles and images about the new complex.
Also offered are views and online tours of the first and second
floors, and a construction map. You'll also see a "Contact" link on
that page should you wish to contact them easily.

Regarding the improvement of working efficiency, that would be a more
personal question that you might wish to direct to someone at the
Sentinel. If this site proves to hold much of the infomation you
seek, I'll be happy to post my comment as an answer - if you find my
link helpful but not complete enough to collect the fee you offer, you
have the option to lower your question fee to reflect what you believe
this information is worth.

I hope you enjoy the tour and I'll check back to see if it was of any
assistance to your informational quest.

Best regards,
journalist-ga
