To launch a program from my desktop I must high-light the icon, right click and select "open" from the pop up menu. Even recently installed programs force me to right click. I would like to launch a program by simply left clicking. | |

Hi sunfire, thank you for the good news - I'm happy to hear you no longer need to go through such a long routine just to open a program! Thank you, hummer -------------------- Hi sunfire, What OS are you using? Also, have a look here: Start / Settings / Folder Options / Click Items as Follows / Check mark: Single Click to Open an Item hummer No internet search was required, rather I looked around in several options menus on my computer instead. |

Hi, Can you try going to the mouse options under the control panel and see what left click is assigned to? Thanks. endo |
