How do I change directory to a directory named for example:"Labview data" in unix? I thought it was cd Labview_data but I suppose that literally means you have a directory named "Labview_data"... thanks! |

Hi, I assume it tells you "too many arguments" with the space. Try: cd Labview* The * means that Unix will autocomplete the directory. This seems to work, here is a small screenshot: http://membres.lycos.fr/dbky/endo/labview.jpg I hope this answers your question, if you need any more help please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for using Google Answers. Regards, endo | |
