This quote is attributed to Abraham Briloff (whose name is often
misspelled as "Brilloff" on the Web). Dr. Briloff is a famed Professor
of Accounting who taught for many years at Baruch College. The quote
was popularized by Robert C. Higgins in his book "Analysis For
Financial Management," which is often used as a textbook in corporate
finance courses.
