Hello,

Can anyone find me:

A licensed sexual therapist located in Southeastern, Pennsylvania
which includes the following counties: Philadelphia, Bucks,
Montgomery, Delaware, or Chester County.
I will accept either direct websites of the professional or a current
directory of licensed professionals in the area.

The licensed professional should have experience in couple
relationships/sexual therapy. The need is not focused on abuse,
exploitation etc. Anywhere from 8 to 16 contacts would be preferable.

Hello!

The following answer contains contact information for about 10 sexual
therapists; it also contains links to directories for various
organizations and types of psychiatrists, psychologists, social
workers and other sexual therapists that will help you find additional
candidates.

The National Institute of Relationship Enhancement offers a directory
of professionals in Pennslyvania here:
http://www.nire.org/directory_listing_pennsylvania.html . The list has
17 names on it, of various qualifications and specialties. NIRE offers
"relationship enhancement" which may or may not be what you're looking
for. Details on the Relationship Enhancement model may be found here:

The Council for Relationships offers 12 Pennsylvania locations, listed
here: http://www.councilforrelationships.org/Staff/main.htm. They
offer counseling on a variety of sex therapy issues, detailed here:

The American Association of Sex Educators Counselors and Therapists

(http://www.pamft.org/index.html - Pennsylvania association site)
offers a Therapist Locator

for southeastern Pennslyvania, but it doesn't seem possible to narrow
the field down to solely sex therapists.

The American Board of Sexology's listing for Pennslyvania
(http://www.sexologist.org/listings/pennsylv.htm) turns up a several
more possible candidates. (There are many, many more listed on the

If you'd rather see a social worker, you can search for a Clinical
Social Worker here: http://search.socialworkers.org/default.asp?df=CSW&fn=
(You can sort by state, zip code, and specialty including Sexual
Dysfunction and Marital/Divorce under the "Client Group" drop-down
menu.)

I hope this is helpful. If there's anything you feel I've left out,
made unclear, or overlooked, please ask for a clarification of this
