Hi, I need to test the existance and the version number of these
software from Visual Basic code, how can I get these results?
 - Internet Explorer
 - macromedia flash player
 - divx codecs and Xvid codecs
 - Microsoft SAPI

The check will be perform from a local application (CD autorun)
The application can be in VB6 or vb.net or JScript(if easier)...

Do you mean from VB.NET? Will you be checking those computers through
the web or through a small application you will load unto those PCs.
