I have a Ford Contour 1995 2.5liter engine, V-6. Apparently something
overheated and told the "computer" not to tell the fuel pump to pump.

The tech says we need to see the wiring circuit for the temperature
controls-- like temp sensor, antifreeze level in reserve, thermostat
and temperature sensor, temp sensor (if different) to turn on cooling
fan, and any others.

The ideal is that we just want the diagram of the circuits related to
the temperature. Easy. :o)

blessings.

Here is another idea. Check for 12 volts going to the fuel pump when
you are trying to start the car. If there is no voltage, try resetting
the fuel pump inertia switch (a safety switch which shuts off the fuel
pump in a wreck) . Also, check the fuel pump relay. If there is 12
volts and there is no fuel pump pressure, then the pump has failed.
