This is a library book that I'd like to buy for myself.
Please locate an on-line seller for me who has it in stock, and tell me the price
The Evolution of Sex, Nobel Conference XXIII, Bellig and Stevens,
eds., Harper & Row 1988)

I don't mean to be too restrictive about "on-line seller." If I have
to make a phone call or write a letter to buy the book, that's ok if
it's in stock.

Hi physics9000-ga,

I have found three sources for this book.

There are two copies available on half.com at $10.99 and $11.16:

http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/prod.cgi?cpidEQ1166002194AMPdomain_idEQ1856AMPmeta_idEQ1&aid=1932276&pid=968336

Used and Bargain Books has one for $8.95 on the alibris site.

http://www.alibris.com/search/detail.cfm?BID=8170100532&siteID=5Nv03vHgBCI-SeEPyk4O4iZAw.PPATGKTQ

Finally, Globalbooks.com has one for $30.62 through Books and Collectibles:

Search Strategy

"the evolution of sex" "nobel conference"

The second listing on the Google search results page for the phrases
above led me to a page of books by John Maynard Smith, one of which
was the book of interest to you. Searching for prices for this book
led me to half.com.

The other results came from searching Bookfinder.com. I searched for
the title "evolution of sex" and picked out the right book from a long
list.

I hope this information is helpful. If you need any further
information, please ask for a clarification.
