I am searching for a Supreme Court case, in which I believe Rehnquist
wrote the majority decision on "second party guilt in vehicular
searches, ie the permission of the second occupant to search the
vehicle."

Can you elaborate further with regard to the details of this "case"
you are referring to. This subject has been discussed and debated many

I am searching for a decision regarding second occupant in a vehicular
search, ie "requiring the second occupant of the vehicle to grant
permission for search of the vehicle, even though the other occupant
may have given permission" (I have heard that William Rehnquist was
the Justice who wrote the majority decision.)

There is no answer at this time.
