There are currently about 130,000 stationed in Iraq and another 10,000 in Afghanistan. Acting Secretary of the Army Les Brownlee estimates that, by the end of December, there will be between 200,000 and 250,000 soldiers being rotated in and out of the middle east. http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2003/Nov/26/ln/ln05a.html |
