Does anyone know how to record a cd on Music Match Jukbox, that will
not place the minor "pause" between tracks. House/DJ continuos mix
cd's...anyone know what I'm talking about? And how do you prevent them
from adding their own promo plug at the end of the cd you just burned?

Hi evilal!

To prevent MMJB from adding their promo to the end of CDs you burn,
you need to register it. If you are using an evaluation version, or
using a version that came bundled with your CD burner, you'll have to
get an upgrade key/serial. If you're using a "bundle" version, check
the sleeve your burner's driver/install/utilities disc came in.
Depending on which burner it came bundled with, there may be a
key/serial included. (The 20 digit key/serial will have the form
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX - if that's what's on your sleeve, that's your
upgrade key/serial.)

Although I much prefer Ahead Software's "Nero", I have used MMJB on
occasion - version 6.0, as that's what came with my TDK veloCD CD-RW.
I found its performance satisfactory, but like the Nero interface much
better.

This is the method that worked for me when transfering a substantial
portion of my MP3 collection to CD. My player reads it as one
continuous track, instead of 150:

To get rid of the "gap" go to Options --> Recorder --> Advanced.
There is a section titled "Auto Song Detect". Uncheck the "Active"
box. Check into the "Delayed Record" as well, and ensure that it is
inactive.

Hope this works for you as well!

Good luck!

Missy...I should have been more specific to the type /version of Music
Match that I own, because when I followed your instructions "To get
rid of the "gap" go to Options --> Recorder --> Advanced. There is a
section titled "Auto Song Detect". Uncheck the "Active" box. Check
into the "Delayed Record" as well, and ensure that it is inactive."

Well Missy...they unfortunately did not work. When I go to options>
recorder...there is no advanced option, neither in the Player nor the
actual Recorder.

As for the key "being the key" to the promo plug that they use to
embed into my cd after a burn...I do have the upgraded version of
Music Match...registered key and all. So twice nay.

I do appreciate you responding. Thank you. It is my fault for not
being more specific.

Since unalbe to get my answer the easy way, I was forced to hunt for
it myself...really didn't have the time for it but...for any other
lazy people suffering from my dillema, do the following:
in the Burner, go to the options tab >help>music match burner plus
help> Choose burner settings from the long list of choices> and scroll
down to:

"Use track-at-once recording - Continuously writes

tracks exactly as on the original CD. This is useful if

burning from a live recording where there may be no gaps

between tracks"

I really would rather have paid the 12.50 than have to do it on my
own, but you can't win em all.
