Hi,

I get prescriptions given to me and my family for the different
illnesses that come with the changing seasons and some are picked up
from family and friends. ;-)

Where can I check on what they're asking us to take into our sysyem
and what are their side affects? Can we also check on the different
ingrediances of these medicines if their brand names are not known to
the database due to regional/marketing issues?

Thank you.

Dear Lizardnation,

Usually, Google Answers Researchers are not allowed to post "trial
answers". However, in your case I can't know for sure what features
exactly you expect from such a drug database. So I would like to ask
you to try this database. You can enter either brand names or generic
names of drugs, and you will get extensive data including side
effects:

RxList: The Internet Drug Index
http://www.rxlist.com/interact.htm

In case you like this database enough to accept it as a valid answer
to your question, please let me know and I will post it as such. But
should you not like it, please explain in some brief words why, so my
fellow Researchers get an impression of what to look for.

Regards,
Scriptor

Hi Scriptor,

There are a lot of things not allowed here for the protection, or over
protection, of those participating. We can bend the rules a bit. ;-)

Thanks, the site looks just right. Go ahead and paste the answer. :-)
