Hi,

Run this please:
Spybot
http://www.webattack.com/download/dlspybot.shtml

And this:

Housecall
http://trendmicro.housecall.com

If that still doesn't help try this please to fix Internet Explorer.

Start > Run rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:\Program
Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g

or

Start > Run rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall
132 C:\windows\inf\ie.inf

Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi Endo
I have tried with Spybot. «Win min» has disappeared but now I get
«Runtime error 5 at 0040437F».I tried to recover Spybot items but I
didn't manage to recover all. There are two items left: «DSO Exploit:
Data source object» and « Windows media player: Client ID»
Thanks
Nik

Hi,

Please do not restore what Spybot finds.

Anyways your problem is definitely a spyware problem.

Please download and run Coolwebshredder:

http://www.spychecker.com/program/cwshredder.html

I am almost certain that this will solve your problem.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi Nik,

Thank you for your question.

Many small applications disguise their inclusion of spyware.

Regularly scanning your system is a wise precaution to take.

The most common tools are:

Lavasoft Adaware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

Spybot Search & Destroy
http://www.safer-networking.org/

Hijack This
http://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/

Sometimes though, when a specific spyware application is detection a
specialist tool may be in order. In your case your system was infected
with CoolWebSearch.

CoolWebShredder is an application tailored to remove this.
http://www.spychecker.com/program/cwshredder.html

I hope this answers your question, if you need any more clarifications
please do hesitate to ask.

Thanks.
